Plain-language terms for a small, independently-run product. See also our Privacy stance.
By creating an account, you agree to these terms. JotZero is a personal task-jotting tool: you log what you got done, and it compiles a weekly summary for you. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for what you enter.
Use JotZero for its intended purpose — jotting your own work. Don't use it to store or transmit anything illegal, don't try to access other users' data, and don't attempt to abuse, overload, or disrupt the service. As covered in our privacy stance, please don't jot passwords, API keys, or confidential company information either.
What you jot is yours. We don't claim ownership of it, and we don't use it for anything beyond generating your own weekly summary and sending it to you.
JotZero is an independently-run product, not a service with a contracted uptime guarantee. We do our best to keep it reliable, but it's provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Features may change as the product evolves.
You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings at any time — no need to ask us first. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, such as abusing the service or attempting to access other users' data.
To the extent permitted by law, JotZero is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Use it at your own discretion, and don't rely on it as your only record of your work.
If these terms change in a material way, we'll do our best to let existing users know. Continued use of JotZero after a change means you accept the updated terms.
